Dreamed of Jaylene last night.

It was one of my more disjointed dreams. In the section of note however, we were on a date. We were sitting on a bench, and I was feeling intoxicated by her presents. I noticed a fruit stand nearby where they were selling these grape / watermellon fruits. (They were teeny tiny watermellons with a thin skin, on bunches like grapes.) I went to buy some for her, but they wouldn't sell me any for some reason.

Anyhow, I think when I get back from burning man I need to take her on a real date. I don't think I've ever been on a real date. I don't think I've ever been on a real date. What does one do? Where does one go? (Keep in mind that dancing is off limits in my book.)

umm, what's this dating thing your refering to?

Ok, so I haven't been on one of these date things in ummmm...*when was the last time?*...but anyways I do remember it's something more than just getting a cup of coffe with a friend. (I think) ...but why does it have to feel like an infomercial somtimes?

My Suggestions:

Burbank has some nice spots for food and drinks. Going out for Margaritas at a restruant. Hiking can be a good thing (walking and talking, then a great view). Over at Grifith Park you can ride some horses to the top of the Hollywood Hills to see the view, then ride back to base camp for a cowboy style bar-b-que (very reasonably priced). Dinner in some nice water front restraunt with soft lights that reflect off the waves. When the last time you've been to an Opera? "La damnation de Faust" (I love that one) will be running in September from 10 to the 18th at the Dorthy Chandler Pavillion.

I guess the best date could be something simple yet is a outing that could appeal sentimentaly to whom trying to show interest in and it could be something that gives an exscuse to wear really nice clothes, more than your favorite jeans or stuff you would wear around the house or friends.

I got more ideas but I should save those for just in case I really, really like someone and might have to go on a date with them. =)

(*shrug* but what do I know? I don't date)

Oh wait, now I remeber my last official date. I'll post that in my journal.

Anyways, good luck!
