So, they shut off my DirectTV a few days ago. Which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do when your customer buys neato nifty toys and new clothes instead of paying her bill.


I don't think it's a good idea to cut someone off cold turkey like that.

They should gradually step you down. Limit your usage per day, gradually decreasing it, until finally your box is silent. Then they can send you little 30 second animated gifs of your favorite shows to use as a patch.

Lucky for me I have a couple of episodes of Buffy on tape.
