I just returned to my desk to find the following message from my chat client.

Apparently, I have finally crossed a line.

Surely the "maybe" applies to the former phrase, and not the latter?

The various "Salmon" IM accounts are instances of a bot which connects two LiveJournal users (discerned by selecting from recent posters who have an IM account listed), making each think the other wrote first. Each sees an incoming message from a user of the name XYZSalmon.

Are you sure it's not "Salmon because you are too evil" instances that are bots?

ethernight's evil is well-established. I suspect the bot was just being opportunistic.

How very interesting. A social worm? What an odd idea.

Anyhow, I was mostly delighted to be told that I was evil.

I have since It's an antiquated feature of AIM that you can warn people, and everytime you do, you get "evil points". It is still a mystery who has been making me evil, but I am amused.
