weird firefox question |

I typically use the [Home] and [End] keys to navigate content pages -- particularly my friends list. [Home] causes your browser to jump to the top of the content, while [End] causes it to jump to the bottom. I'm sure you can all see why this would be useful.
The problem is, lately those keys have stopped preforming that function. Instead, there is a little blinking line cursor on the page, as if it were a word processor. The up and down arrows cause my little cursor to move, the [Home] and [End] keys move my cursor to the beginning and end of the line, and surprisingly the [Page Up] and [Page Down] keys do something entirely strange, having nothing to do with either moving the pointless cursor, or scrolling in the page.
Anyone know what the deal is? I tried hitting the [Scroll Lock] key thinking that might be the problem, but no dice.

Maybe you're in caret mode, try pressing F7.
