What sort of over-the-counter meds would one take for back pain?

I was gonna go to the store to pick up some wine for the pain, and some chocolate to help me feel better about the pain. But I thought someone might have a more practicle suggestion.

[Edit: Nevermind, you took too long I'm impatient. Google says acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID's). Translation: tylenol and motrin. (Guess you were right Adam.) I'm off to the store.]

What?? What do I know about that stuff? Oh, you were probably talking to everyone.

P.S. I've been waiting for the right time to call you. My working schedule has been "At some point, but sooner."

No, this post was JUST for YOU. I can't believe you would abandon me like this in my time of need! All I ask for is a little back pain relief and you can't even do that! *pout*

I've been thinking of you. I hope your well.

Lots of love.

Speaking from experience, most over the counter stuff doesn't do a whole lot of good....but Aleve seems to do the most, at least for me.

Chocolate seems to be the cure for everything, so I'd throw a bit of that in there too = )
